About the Long-Term Disaster Recovery Organization

|
Following the 2009 Good Friday Tornado and the May 2010 Flood, Brian Hercules, executive director of the United Way, decided our county needed an organization that would offer long-term assistance to victims of disaster. The disaster for victims continues long after the storm is over. That's the purpose of this organization, to be there every step along the way to help victims rebuild their lives.
As you tour our website, you'll find information about the disaster recovery process, volunteer opportunities immediately after and beyond local disasters and how you can help monetarily. Funds raised through this organization will go directly to families in need after disaster strikes.
